We’re excited to introduce a new enhancement in Movegistics AI that helps streamline work request management by automatically assigning Move Coordinators based on the selected Service Type.

This enhancement reduces manual assignment work, improves operational consistency, and ensures the right coordinator is automatically assigned from the moment a Work Request is created.

📍 Where to Configure

Go to: Settings → General → Service Types → Edit Service Type

You will now see a new optional field:

Default Move Coordinator

This dropdown displays CRM users who have Move Coordinator permissions.

💡 What This Enhancement Does

You can now map a specific Move Coordinator to each Service Type.

Once configured, the system will automatically populate the assigned Move Coordinator whenever that Service Type is selected in a Work Request.

⚙️ How It Works

1️⃣ Configure the Service Type

Navigate to: Settings → General → Service Types

Edit any Service Type and assign a: ✅ Default Move Coordinator

This setup is optional and fully customizable.

📝 Automatic Move Coordinator Assignment in Work Requests

When creating a Work Request:

• If the user manually selects a Service Type
OR
• If the Service Type is auto-selected as the default Service Type

Then:

✅ The mapped Move Coordinator will automatically populate in the Work Request.
